I love when Natalie Clarice posts a video on men and relationships. In this YouTube short, she tells women to be careful when a man says "I'm sorry, I miss you, I love you". It's as if LVM use these phrases to reel women back in, but never follow up with actions that reflect these phrases.
I used to get swiped off my feet when men love bomb and then I feel hurt when it stops because they either find a better fling or they feel rejected when I say no to nudes or sex.
Jada Pinket smith said " Worry about being respected not liked" Then I understood that this also goes with love, Worry about being respected not loved. Especially by men because men are incapable of love, they are only capable of fish love or puppy love. It's either one of the two.
If men can only have fish love for you aka they love you because they can use you or you make them feel good then when there is no respect it will end up in a divorce.
I had to school my friend the other day on how she needs to stop listening to men's words and start listening to his actions. She told me she met this guy, who is taking care of his 2 girls by himself, cause the baby momma is a crack/heroin addict who's in jail, and he has full custody cause she such a POS. And she says how she's SOOOO impressed with his taking responsibility for this kids, and how much integrity he has. I had to stop her, like girl. "How do you know if anything he told you is true? How do you know his baby momma is a POS? How do you know she's actually in jail? How do you know she's actually addicted to drugs? Just because this dude is saying she is??? All this dude is giving you is words, that you're just believing it at face value. And I caution you to not use words like integrity for a man you have only spoken to for one week. Integrity is something that is shown through actions, over a long period of time. You have NO idea if this person has integrity." I told her she needs to watch his actions not his words. It was appalling to watch a 38 yr old woman just falling for every word, a man she just met, was telling her. Then what happens? He ends up blocking her over something completely petty. Oh well, so much for his integrity!
Specially when he's talking about his exes. In fact, if all of his exes are "crazy," run. Or else you'll be the "crazy" ex to the next girl he tries to woo.
this even happened to me with a boss. after saying a barrage of horrible things about my performance and work, he said, “but i consider you a friend! i still like you!”
