Ladies, is it a red flag if a man uses this specific terminology to comment on modern dating dynamics?
His commentary was basically about too much easy sex making men lazy, which is partially true not considering there were always lazy alcoholic men who needed to be controlled by bosses, sergeants, police, and priests... often it was nothing more than his reputation or the omnipresent wrath of god making him act decent enough, because surely spending 25 cents at the brothels was not that hard... but it's something about that term itself.
Tbh it sounds disgusting to me. Markets are for selling and purchasing provisions, commodities and livestock. I am not a product, not a whore, not a breeder and not for sale. I know it's a popular term among red pill dudes who are just nasty pieces of work. Maybe it's leaked into popular lexicon but I cant see how it can be interpreted any other way?
Even if you're 100% all in on thinking about relationships in "pill" terms it's just so low class and gross to talk about it out loud, especially to a prospective romantic partner.
