I came across the Instagram profile of a guy I had connect with during the time I did my master's degree. We met at a party and clicked but as usual, he ended up being a complete waste of time (surprise, surprise) and we stopped talking.
He has a girlfriend now and he posts photos of her and him a lot. I see that she has filler in her lips and a Brazilian butt lift. While women are free to do what they want to their bodies, the majority of the time, they get these enhancements to attract men and honestly, it makes them look ridiculous and so unnatural.
While this guy never bashed women who alter their bodies, seeing his girlfriend reminded me of men who do. They will make fun of women who wear too much makeup or get surgical changes to their bodies. They say that they want "natural women" because women who alter their bodies have low self-esteem, but in the end, these are the very women they lust after and leave other women for. Now, most of these men don't want to be serious with these women, i.e. they tend to want the experience of having sex with them, as I've heard men talk enthusiastically about trying out women who have had breast enlargement surgery after only being with women who haven't. Some even push for their female partners to increase their breast size so that he can ogle and play with them (i.e. she should change herself to make him happy). The back and forth of what men say they want and what they actually want never ends which is why listening to them and trying to be who or what they want, will drive you insane.
By and large, men who go on and on about something or someone, want that thing or person. If a man constantly makes fun of or talks about women with fake breasts, filler-injected lips, butt lifts and so on, please know that they are women he's interested in being with. Again, most men aren't serious about the women they chase so the majority of the time, they want these women for superficial reasons which in this case is sex.
This is something I felt compelled to write about so we can all have this tip in our arsenal when we're vetting.
yes. Thank you for the post. A man I was talking to randomly started criticising a woman he knows. he said "she's getting 2 and 3 college degrees, which is so stupid, you should only get one." Even though he's criticizing her, I'm pretty sure he's in love with her.
