Sorry, this is gross but it's the truth, scrotes will jack off to women online.
There's this trend among sellers where they do live shows - to sell whatever goods, trinkets, clothes, etc they have for sale. Think of whatnot ans poshmark shows, for example.
I used to be friends with guys in high school, and they'd tell me that they would use social media to get off to women's/teen girls photos - even if they were modest and innocent. It literally did not matter how you presented yourself or what you wore.
There's some women in these communities who wear outfits that are more proactive, and they do gain attention and make more sales.
But I just want to remind everyone just to be mindful of what content you are uploading to the internet and to be beware of doing these live shows as men CAN and will use them for their own pleasure.
I know a lot of us are pretty good about vetting and deleting and blocking, but seriously I have men from YEARS ago that I blocked that STILL try to get into contact with me.
I have a small business and social media for the small business which is public and I avoid posting myself as much as possible. I just show the crafts I sell - without showing my face. Beware of your location and things in your content that make it easy for creeps to locate you.
I will NEVER do a live show because I know my creepy male orbiters will use it for their pleasure. I wouod seriously have to wear like a cape and Halloween mask if I did!
The other thing is that dudes make deep fakes.
I don't want to make anyone live under a rock or be paranoid but seriously ... just Beware of it. I had several men express interest in buying my crafts or getting me to "model" things when they were really trying to get photos of me for free! I've had other businesses reach out and pressure me to do live shows turns out it was men who wanted to SEE MORE OF ME!
So many other women pressure me to do live shows and don't care about this and I lost a lot of business friends because they would not respect my "no".
Look up opt out, select out and how to do this if you truly want to scrub yourself from the internet. Plenty of helpful YT videos with steps on how to erase yourself from the internet.
