So I called his mom, and told her. And I certainly did not respond to him.
Ladies never fall for this. Whether the threat holds water or not, call his friend or relative, call the police or emergency line, send help his way if you feel compelled, but do NOT reward him with your attention for this behavior.
NEVER waste your good-nature and empathy on a horrifically cruel manipulation tactic.
That's such a heartless threat to make and when people do that it says alot about themselves tbh. I usually respond with "no don't do that you're awesome" and they get quiet because they suddenly are in a position of pity instead of control
