This isn't to say Motherhood shouldn't be valued, but isn't being a good mother a given when it comes to ideal qualities? Like nobody wants their wife to be a BAD mom! So why bother specifying what most normal people would expect?
The point being that when a man says he's looking for a "good mother", I would strongly advise you ladies to dig deeper and ask him to elaborate because there's a VERY good chance that what he really means by "good mother" is "a good servant".
More specifically, he wants you to replicate what HIS mother gave HIM. It's actually a lot creepier than you're brushing on. They'd put wigs on us and call us "mom" until it's bedroom porn star time if they could.
It could also mean that he'd leave you if you can't have children.
