It's happened. They're making posts in the "Are we dating the same guy?" Facebook groups about ex girlfriends comments being revenge posting, because this other woman has been friends with the guy and "he's great!"
Now we're being told we need to be nicer. We can't say mean things about men. Can't hurt their fee fees.
What's the point if we always have to put them first??
What a lot of women don't realize is that men can act COMPLETELY different towards them than the other women in that man's life. It's best to just shut up and let the woman in question tell what she needs to. I've learned that it's so much safer to give a woman the benefit of the doubt than a man. Men so often don't deserve it.
Our local group was shut down. Already have a new one up and running. Can't wait for an app launch, when we will easily access all information across all locations.
Feel free to report "Are we dating the same GIRL" groups for derogatory discussion of women, harassment and organized crime.
When men get together in online spaces, generally they form a cohesive narrative with each other with few or none dissenting voices. When it comes to women's spaces, there's trolls or pickmes or other people invading.
I think the rule of not saying mean things about “men” in the group is more about not getting banned from Facebook then protecting men. Also, there are a lot of pick me in the spaces like that so they make matter much worse. I understand the former part because if the page get banned from fb then it would be a problem for a lot of women.
I've been seeing so many r*ddit posts of guys complaining about these groups lately. Like "I'm not getting any matches on OLD, could I have been unknowingly slandered in one of those groups?" like no Kevin, you probably just look like a potato. Also, like your comment, friends of the guy popping up to defend their fragile honour, which is stupid because a guy can act completely different around a friend vs a partner. That's kind of the whole thing with abuse, it's usually behind closed doors. Smh these pickmes.
So I imagine it's because guys are flipping out about it and of course everyone has to pander to them for fear of being banned. 🙄
What men don’t realize is that women don’t care about the retaliation groups men make because the entire internet is already a hate group towards women. EVERY porn site, Reddit, redpill sites, etc are all overwhelmingly abusive towards women, often targeting specific individuals without their consent. And these sites have thrived for many years and continue to thrive. Start shutting those sites down, then we can talk about the problems of AWDTSG. No dumbass retaliation group is threatening to us because we’ve already been on the receiving end of it since the dawn of the internet (and long before).
