God I wish I learned these lessons years ago. I have a long history of building up bfs, only to leave me while the next girl benefits from all of my hard work. This makes me so angry. But at the same time, I have to have compassion for myself, because I had zero people to help me in my life. I had zero adults to give me guidance and direction. I've had to discover everything through mistakes, and trial and error. But FUCK I am so angry that it took 47 years for me to learn these lessons. You younger ladies getting this info in your 20s are truly blessed!!
