overheard in the cereal aisle at the grocery store: "what kind of cereal would make for a great morning? ok, gorgeous. do the kids need Puffins?"
it was a guy on his phone, talking to his wife (or possibly his girlfriend). he sounded very enthusiastic, complimented his partner and was clearly running errands to help out his household.
i know this is the bare minimum, but it stood out so much to me in the moment...
and that's how i know that the bar is in the center of the earth's iron core when it comes to men. 🤣
Seeing a man buy cereal for his family impresses us so much 🤣🤣
The bar really is so low
I don't know... why doesn't he know what kind of cereal his wife likes and if the kids need Puffins and needs to call her?
That's putting the organizational burden on her and not considering it his job to remember those things, something that still happens in many families where the dad seems to help out. It's not really helping if she still needs to explain things like the shopping list to him and remind him not to forget stuff constantly or he calls her to ask about stuff like this all the time.
Don't know about you, but it sounds like lip service to me.
Why do I get the impression that the man was anything but gorgeous?
Men are nice as pie when we haven’t slept with them. 🤣🤣🤣
Today I saw a man shopping with special colour coded dividers in his trolley that maybe doubled as reusable shopping bags? King. Lol.
the comments in this thread are all gold 🤣🤣🤣 carry on, Queens!
