Does anybody have a solution for this?
I honestly think men have no idea that the overwhelming majority of women wear makeup.
Like, I think they would call models without makeup "mid."
I showed one of the guys saying I looked "sick" a picture of a model without makeup, and he called her ugly. Then I showed him her model picture, and he said she looks NORMAL.
Guys like to act like martyrs and say the prefer women without makeup, but what they really mean is makeup that looks natural.
Modern men are so fucking pandered to and spoiled. I still want to wear makeup the same way I want to bathe and dress nicely, but honestly, men need a fucking reality check.
Like, I can't be attacked for having a bare face. That's fucking STUPID.

OK, do you actually HAVE to put on that makeup (if it's for those men at least), or at least that amount? I'm starting to believe that I would derive more gratification getting men angry from me not having enough makeup on, than to put on the makeup to please those particular men. If anything, it's the men who need the makeup, not the women.
I wear large-framed glasses, which kind of give my face an identity all on its own, so maybe it's easier for me to get away with wearing hardly any makeup. Sorry if I can't speak for everyone though. 🫤
I think most women in an office setting that typically wear makeup, but then one day don't (because who's got the energy for that 24/7 and 365 right?!) have gotten the "Are you feeling ok today" question. At surface level it's asked in concern but it's basically a slap in the face. I get it. I've noticed it. Nowadays I take a day here and there where I don't wear makeup and if I get "the question" I just say that this is my face without effort. Sometimes I'll say it's my Man face for laughs if I have the right audience 🤭 I rarely get the question anymore though. I'm getting close to the age that women go invisible and I'm not mad about it 🤷♀️...don't let them ruin your day. Patriarchy sucks, we know that
they are so repulsed by the thought of makeup while while they’ll be dumping copious amounts of minoxidil on their hairline hanging by a thread lol. Just say, I also prefer men with hair.
Also, it also has to do with money aspect i think. Makeup is expensive and these men want women that look beautiful head to toe yet somehow want it to be “natural”, because otherwise it comes with a cost, that they are so afraid they’ll have to pay for. This is very similar to men always complaining about high maintenance women. It’s like they want all the profit of being seen with a gorgeous women (that literally does wonders for his self esteem btw) but are not willing to pay for the maintenance expenditure.
Solution is to center your own opinion so that you don't care what losers like them think or say. It's a skill & it takes practice.

Center your OWN opinion of yourself such that ANYone's distorted projection does not even touch you.
The reason men say shit like that is 'cause they feel safe enough doing so. They want you to jump thru hoops for their approval, so I say stop wearing makeup altogether for a while just for them to get used to you not complying with their bullshit tests.
Or don't, really it's up to you, but regardless of what you choose, just make sure the men you work with are always uncomfortable around you because that's what will keep them in line. If they think you're an ice queen, they might try to melt you with some serious burns, but remain steadfast in your wall of ice.
I would argue that men secretly DO like women who wear lots of makeup, but they're mad that they can't afford it. Lots of makeup=high maintenance=expensive.
Being seen with any woman automatically gives status to men, but being seen with a high maintenance woman gives them even more status. Don't give them any for free.
