They just hate the idea of a woman having any kind autonomy or control, no matter how small or insignificant.

I've known single mothers who stopped asking for child support because they feared their ex husband's would murder them over it, even though the child support payments were basically scraps to them.

A lot of men are willing to spend their entire lives in prison and lose everything they worked for, just so they can feel like they can "put a woman in her place"
