She's stunning, rich and doesn't need that melted candle on her arm for anything. He's hideous and should have married her immediately, given he looks like a toad. Pour one out for another one lost.

I wonder if different rules apply when you're very wealthy and famous. Because I don't see why she married him at all. Obviously, I'm missing something here.

The age gap is disgusting.

Her net worth is 40 million while his is 18. So clearly she didn’t wait this long for money. And the caption implies she wanted to keep it to a long engagement, not him? So I guess it’s not the worst. But the 17 year age gap just gives me the ick and a 19 year old engagement is ?????? I’m just imagining how many of their family and friends could have passed away within 19 years.

I understand taking time since he proposed to her after only one month of knowing her, but I have to wonder whether she really wanted to be married to him or is she feeling pressure at this point after so many years.

The age gap is creepy but at least he didn't chase her in her 20s early 30s like most washed up creeps do. Still having a man 20 years older than you is a bad move, by the looks of this dude in maybe 5 years she can play his hospice wife.

Waiting with marriage this long and such a huge age gap is not a good example to set for your young fans.

Michelle Yeoh married a dude who is 17 years her senior. Everybody seems quite upset at this. At a glance, this sounds like a proper reaction, right? Ew massive age gaps, right? Well, the kicker is that that Michelle Yeoh is 60 YEARS OLD while her husband is 77 YEARS OLD. A bit of a gap, yes, but not really that strange, like a 19 year old girl marrying a 35 year old man would be strange.

After a certain point, large age gaps aren't an issue. A 45 year old woman marrying a 60 year old man is quite the gap, but both people involved are rational, fully developed humans capable of making their own choices. I see no reason to knock anybody involved in this marriage beyond personal hangups.

Also, this Jean Henri Todt character is the definition of a HVM and not some random scrote. Just look at his wikipedia page. He's obviously ambitious, wealthy, studded with meaningful achievements/titles, and seems to have a relatively clean record, personally and legally speaking. The only thing one could fault Todt is that he's not a stunner compared to somebody like Yoeh, but this isn't really a fault. Some males just look weird, especially if they are over the age of seventy. Looks aren't the end all be all in many relationships.
