I'm not really familiar with all of Michelle Branch's music or the music her husband creates, but this divorce has been all over my feed. It's generating a lot of interest because she is leaving him while she has a 6-month-old baby because of his alleged cheating. Last night she was arrested for alleged domestic abuse for slapping him in the face several times. Obviously, I do not condone any form of domestic violence done by any gender. However, I have to say that I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what this relationship is like based on this one picture:
I’m willing to wager it was reactive abuse. It almost always is with women “DV perpetrators”. Police come out to heaps of call outs when the male is violent, they don’t do shit. The moment the female loses her shit bc she’s been subject to abuse for so long, she’s the one that gets slapped with the restraining order.
I need video footage (that I'll dismiss) and at least 3 female witnesses before I believe him. (I won't)
