On one hand, the fact that her current boyfriend has known her since she was so young definitely gives me ick vibes.
On the other, I can totally empathize with a grown woman feeling like her fans have totally overstepped the boundaries of the celeb/fan relationship by interjecting into her personal life. As such, I understand the fun and satisfaction in a good middle-finger.
I’m sorry, but she’s not “a grown woman.” I know we’ve all felt that way when we’re that age. You feel so adult, so mature but you’re really not. And you don’t realize it until you’re older and have more life experience. But you’re not grown. There’s a reason many people in their late 20s/ early 30s see young 20 year olds as children still. Honestly she is just too young to see how wrong this is. She’s a bright girl, I’m sure she will realize when she’s older. I’m sure many of us can relate, or have similar stories of being preyed upon by older scrotes. She also seems to have no support from her family. Like what kind of mother would be okay with this? What kind of brother? I’m hoping it’s the case of them just going with the flow and “accepting” her decision because they can’t force her to do anything. You more you push, the more she’s gonna pull away. So I really hope those are her family’s true feelings and they just haven’t been public about it. Otherwise they have failed her.

I hope one day she realizes she was being groomed. I have issues with age gaps. And the normalization of age gaps too. It’s gross and it’s bad for all women.
naybe it’s because I have a gross father but Ive always been creeped out by older men bothering young girls/women like this. When I was her age I didn’t ever date older than 5 years. when I was 20 I had a 25 year old bf. At the time it didn’t seem bad because I didn’t see 25 as that old. but when I look back I can realize that there wqs an imbalance of power there, it took a while but maybe Billie eillish will see that she’s been groomed and used eventually
I love Jesse's Band "The Neighbourhood", but I have to admit that Jesse gives of creepy vibes. He used to date a model called Devon Lee Carlson. They knew each other from high school, but they weren't dating each other back then. They were just friends. Jesse officially started dating Devon when she was 21 years old, while he was 24 years old. They seemed like a very happy couple. Jesse wrote the song "Single" about his relationship with Devon. Maybe I'm reading a little bit too much into it, but it seems like Jesse is singing about the fact that he was always attracted to Devon, but couldn't date her back then because she was to young:

So yeah I think Jesse is definitely a groomer.
Years from now she's gonna look back and be so embarrassed. I know my girl Florence Pugh feels the same way about her ex-man.
