Dad is upset and makes a video about how upset he is that the mom is not here to take the kid. Meanwhile, he's the one who asked for full custody because he did not want to pay child support 🙄.
After going through a miserable custody battle too I understand why she left. Getting away from a scrote requires serious sacrifice. Him going for custody is a power grab that deserves to be shut down with an OK fine. He doesn’t pay child support and he gets the kid. Likely next move is he files to get her to pay support and gets a pick-me or relative to take over raising the child. I'd like to add the child's mother is seriously a tough woman. It took til my ex endangered my life a few times before I considered leaving without my kids. The decision to get out of a baby trap by leaving the baby should be normalized and supported.
More women need to do this but they won't. Because they care about their children's wellbeing I know because my mom was the same way. My dad wanted full custody but she didn't trust the way he lived. (Traveled for work alot left me with my aunt (his sister) and grandmother.) I almost chocked to death because of a candy and that was it.
My great aunt did this. I was 40-something when her son - who was brought up by his father - came looking for her side of the family and had a nice chat with my mother.
Another deterrent which I saw - was how impossible it can be for a woman to get an income large enough to support a family when I found it already too hard to earn enough to support myself even with college and a university degree. I could get a job in the city as a single but as a family could not afford to live there. I was stuck in a small town and my ex didn’t realize he didn’t even need a court order to keep the children there. He got a court order to prevent me from leaving town with the children without his permission at the same I got one that supposedly protected me from him. The police let me tell them over and over again about him stalking, harassing, threatening and assaulting me and just kept munching on the popcorn because I was nothing now but a spectacle for their enjoyment because my ex was their mate. I wasn’t even safe in public until a judge got hold of the evidence and tore everyone a new one. A few years later, I remarried, moved, and tried to get my career back on track.
