I was sadden and anger by the revelation of Ned Fulmer cheating on his wife with an employee. It sucks for the company because they have to disentangle him from the company to save their image (proud of the team for cutting ties going forward). But my heart goes out to Ariel and her two children along with the fiancé of the employee.
Like with John Mulaney, parasocial interactions can really mask the true intentions of others. In addition, those who overcompensate their marriage to others have a lot of skeletons in the closet.
Loyalty is really lack of options for cheaters.
I may be wrong, but isn’t he a shareholder in Try Guys? I feel like he won’t be in any of the videos, but he’ll probably be “in the shadows” even if that means it’s bts stuff. Unpopular opinion: The girl he cheated with, Alex was in a 10 year relationship with her ex-fiancée and from my POV…she was never in a good position to begin between Ned and her ex-fiancée. Also… it’s always the dude with cleanest image that does the most shady shit.
I feel pretty distraught about it ngl. It hurts to see people you look up to failing. First John, now Ned, and I’m just hoping Ryan Reynolds and Russel Wilson keep showing men how it’s SUPPOSED to be done. It’s sad, but actual good men are pretty rare. Sigh.
I don’t think I have watched the try guys for years, but I remember Ned’s personality was that he was a wholesome man who loved his wife and wanted kids (which I see he has now). The Buzzfeed cast kind of irritates me since they went out of their way to portray themselves as quirky millennial stereotypes and the Buzzfeed website has just become an ad for Amazon. I am sad for his wife. She is thin, conventionally attractive, and gave him 2 kids. I am sure she was good to him. It still wasn’t enough because men are awful like that.
I’m devastated with you sis.
