Given that there are growing numbers of lonely, single men, it’s no surprise that AI girlfriends are also on the rise. Initially, I had hope that these AI girlfriends could actually be beneficial – maybe they could boost the confidence of straight men who struggle to talk to women, and ‘teach’ them how to act in a relationship built on mutual respect. But, as usual, men have let me down.
Now, experts are warning that AI girlfriends could be creating a new generation of incels who will feel emboldened to control women and struggle to communicate normally with real-life human beings. Speaking to The Guardian, Tara Hunter, the acting CEO for Full Stop Australia, which supports victims of domestic or family violence, warned that AI girlfriends are likely paving the way for problems later down the line.
OF COURSE IT MAKES THEM WORSE. It only further reinforces their stunted capacities. This is no surprise ot me at all and it boggles my mind how people are in any way surprised by this. Like some other things but that's off topic.. You either fix human/social problems or you avoid fixing them. AI GF is one example of avoiding fixing it and therefore only perpetuating it further. *Edited to add: Can we please just note the LANGUAGING of the headline, please? Its the AI girlfriends that are making these men 'worse'. Even when it's a robot it's still the whatever-he's-projecting-female/his-shadow-on-to's fault/responsibility. Honestly they shouldn't be called AI 'girlfriends'. They should simply be called deranged porn bots! Girlfriend would imply 'she' had some kind of humanity but 'she' is literally just an object for the deluded incel male to project all his nonsense on with the hope of no push back/real world consequences. Oops, turns out his own demise is a consequence, which he now blames on AN INANIMATE OBJECT (yes even if AI and artificially 'animated' it is not sentient). They (men) are 'making' themselves worse. That's all there is to it. Eternal escape artists. (escaping from reality, responsibility and so on and on and on and on.....)
AI gfs are for men that are beyond repair. The men who are so toxic and insufferable that they should not be around anybody but their mothers.
A friend and I had a conversation about this years ago. Both of us came to the conclusion that AI gf are for guys that are beyond repair and have some serious violent problems. At the time, we were young and thought that everyone should receive love even if it meant that they were into some pretty creepy shit lol we were so naive. Lol
Now, I just think that AI partners are a waste of time, because you are not really learning anything. If anything AI gives you comfort because they are designed to fit your needs rather than you learning how to fit each other’s needs.
Have you ever seen that Black Mirror episode where the girl bought AI to replace her husband? She couldn’t move on and he was stuck living in her attic.
I saw a movie where a woman is 'gifted' a robot boyfriend from her company. She's meant to test it, find issues and provide a report on the experience. The robot was honestly great. It was the perfect boyfriend. Kind, considerate, supportive, attentive and (eventually) a great lover.
She rejected it. And she recommended that the company fully pivots away from creating such a product.
Her reason was that the Perfect Robot Partner would indeed make any individual deliriously happy beyond all reason and comprehension... and it would become next to impossible for the customer to socialize with actual humans ever again. In other words, producing robot partners for the world would end up emotionally and psychologically stunting people. It would render the human population incapable of creating and maintaining normal human relations and bonds. It was not a question of weakness or morality. It was just an inevitable dangerous side effect of their product.
The movie was 2021 'I'm Your Man'. It's an ok film, but the final message of the movie really stuck with me long after I forgot the rest of it.
AI GF's are the only form of female's than can't reject them. That bomshell they fancy wouldn't even touch their poop dried ass crack with a 10 foot pole.
I'm glad they want to stay away from real women more space and peace for us.
In July i was curious about this Youtuber i used to watch. She used to live kinda close to me. So i look her up & I can’t find any of her Youtube videos but i find out that she’s “sold herself” to become an AI girlfriend & already has made a bunch of money.
I remember she made a video about people from her high school stalking her house & leaving bags of semen & other bodily fluids @ her house in jugs. She would be harassed from kids from her school. & i wasn’t surprised cause i knew a guy who used to go there & he said how it was really racist & just a wild school.
I’ve seen multiple post of men trying to “find” her & stalking her with the help of other creeps. 🤦🏿♀️
It’s just come full circle & I hate it.
I hope she’s okay or be okay .
Tbh even if she realizes how dangerous, risky, and in-the-moment this is I don’t think she’ll ever have a chance for a somewhat normal life again unless she moves out of America but even then…
I sort of like this. Let them be more delusional about actual women in a society where we can work, and our humanity is recognized by people at large. So when they go on incel rampages, they look insane, rather than dudes all having no outlet and enslaving women en masse. Let them develop into worse males, so we know who to date: men who intentionally chose not abuse women/female AI because it's easier than humanizing us. Staying single in a world where men self-immolate isn't awful.
