Just curious if anyone else in this community is spiritual or into LoA type beliefs? I was raised in a very agnostic type family, but was always taught and believed in concepts like karma, energies, etc. So I have always had this mindset that the energy you put out is what you get in return. I have seen this manifest in many ways in my life, and am always working on leveling up myself and trying to be receptive of what the universe has to give me in return. However, I will admit I've been in a major slump lately and don't know why. It's like I'm doing so much work and mindfulness meditation practices, but still get thrown a bunch of crap and I'm trying not to lose my faith. So many people in this world just don't do the same work on themselves, and it's discouraging to me. It's almost like the more you level up and raise your vibration, the harder it is to manifest other people because there simply aren't many others on your vibrational level. And therefore, it's harder to keep my energy positive when I start to feel let down by the world around me. Just kind of rambling here 🤷🏼♀

I am a spiritual person, but I'm not into LoA-type stuff. To me, that has always seemed like prosperity gospel without the Jesus. (Or often, just with slightly less Jesus. Neville Goddard, for example, was explicitly Christian.)
I think the underlying concept of focusing on good things, being grateful for what you have, not focusing on what you lack, being what you want to see in the world, generally keeping a positive mindset, etc. is good. But I think LoA specifically quickly devolves into "well if you're not manifesting everything you want you're just not spiritual enough." And that can cause spiritual slumps and crises of faith.
