Hey Queens, I thought I would offer an invitation for a space for gratitude:
A gratitude thread.
I don't know about you, but I find the hate and all the ish in the world, and especially online, can feel pretty immense at the moment.
I find it really helpful to take a break from that, and intentionally note down some things we're grateful for on a regular basis. Some people do this in their journal every day, for example.
So this is a thread to rest in from time to time, or daily if you wish, to create space for that positive energy so we can expand that in our lives. (Note, this is not about gaslighting/bypassing away any of the BS/pain, but rather providing a separate time and space to focus on the good). It can be little everyday mundane things, or maybe things that don't happen very often. It's your choice how exactly you'd like to use this thread and show up here, as long as you understand the intention.
You could, for example, list one thing, 5, 10, or more things that you're grateful for at the time of posting.
You may also like to include a prayer (in print, or verbally) if that suits you in any way. This space is not specific to any religion or spiritual practice, I just include that for those for whom that resonates and is useful. This is not about 'flexing', bragging, or celebrating wins (also a very valuable thing - maybe another post for that!), but more so a space to dwell in gratitude. More on the soulful, spiritual/heart space side of things. I hope that this helps to amplify your gratitude and joy.
And may we all witness, and be reminded of, the abundance that is always available to us, in big, and small, ways.
I'm grateful now & today for: • time and space. I just nourished up with 2 hrs of sound bathing and some gentle stretching. Riding through a storm at the moment and sooo grateful for the window to slow down, breathe and be gentle. • grateful for my capacity to pull back from all the hate atm, and stop, think, and delete before i press send! I don't have to engage with all the fires. I get to protect my peace. Thankful for the pause and think. lol. • no matter what happens tomorrow, I've done the best I can up til this point. i am grateful to myself for this, and to all that life has afforded me. May peace fill every corner of my life. My my life be guided and led by the light of love and benevolence and positive life force. May I be protected, supported, and loved, always in all ways. May peace fill every corner of my life.
