Single mom homes are only bad if you think moms who raise kids without as much money are "bad." There are plenty countries where kids don't have much contact with the fathers, and some of them are better of. I.E., the Mosuo people. There just like, isn't crime and men don't rape because they can't.
And you know what? Sometimes "daddy issues" (like overly trusting men and being genuinely friendly) and "outbursts" are signs that a kid is able to express themselves. I know kids with overbearing dads who don't act out, because if they do, they'll be reminded quickly of how much their dads don't actually love them. :/ Thinking dads are that important is as dangerous as thinking single moms are bad for being single.
