Just got a text from someone out of the blue asking how I've been, etc. I didn't recognize the number but had an idea of who it was. Google search confirmed. While googling, I stumbled across his facebook page and saw "In a relationship with _____" from September 1, 2022. Out of curiosity, I looked through my Hinge messages from when he asked for my number. We matched September 12th. Within that week, he asked me out to dinner, but at the time I was getting ready to take a break from dating and deleting Hinge (which is when he got my number). So, basically, he was already in a relationship when he matched with me on Hinge and wanted to take me out. Now he's hitting me up again and may or may not still be in that relationship. Lol. The audacity. With this newfound knowledge, I am blocking and deleting. ✌

This happens too often and is exactly why I don’t do dating apps. I want to meet a man organically and come across others in his life to determine his level of commitment. If he’s anonymous, there’s nothing to say he doesn’t lie about a partner or family. I wouldn’t willingly go into a situation where I’d be the other woman.

Some must have a rolodex of women from OLD to return to in the future. It's gross and way too common.
Either don't reply and just block and delete, or type out "who?" and then block and delete and don't read or answer his reply.
