I also find them to be a good litmus test of how well a person will find fierce independence and sassiness to be charming characteristics, or take deep personal offense to it. How well someone can say "Okay, that's how this person/creature just is, and that's not a personal slight to me, and that's ok." People who accept these things about cats and others will probably be good partners and friends. At least that's what I've found. I'm immensely biased though as cats are probably my most favorite thing on this miserable earth. 😻 I am not surprised at all to learn that miserable incels have vitriol towards these wonderful creatures.

Men's disdain for small animals like cats and dogs just reveals their inherent selfishness. If he can't imagine taking care of a small animal that needs so little food, time, and attention, how would they treat a woman? A child? Abysmally. If he couldn't be arsed to feed a cat once per day, and can't see the value in being at least a little bit in service to something other than himself, you can bet he'll treat you like shit on his shoes. That he'll never think of your needs or wants, because he's stingy to his very soul.

Cats and cat ladies alike are literally just living their lives and minding their business. But they both don’t need men and generally don’t seek their approval or tend to their needs, which is a major crime in their book. A single woman who is not looking, to them, means another “lonely” man who did not get his wife appliance. And they are genuinely mad at cats for not behaving like dogs and immediately fawning all over them, and not being as trainable (cats can learn a lot but won’t ever bring you a beer). Notice a pattern here? If it doesn’t directly serve them, it’s bad and should feel bad.

Wanting any animal to get hit by a car is disgusting and sociopathic, but I do agree with the other commenters saying that a man hating cats in particular is a red flag. Cats are closely associated with women, and as mentioned before, tend to do as they please. Of course people can have preferences for different pets, but any signs of actual anger and resentment toward cats = nope.

Cats are superior creatures, in my opinion. They're majestic and the energy they carry with them is simply wonderful. I love my cat more than I'll love any man and I'm not afraid to be labeled as a 'crazy cat lady'. Men hate cats simply because women are choosing these incredible creatures over them, over locking themselves into slavery (marriage with them) and carrying their children. Many of us prefer our pets over men, and since most men suffer from main character syndrome, they see our pets as competition🤡 The story of a man/boy bonding with his dog is a tale as old as time. Media is full of it, a dog is a man's best friend, right? A man loving an animal is never a bad thing, some even think it's a green flag. But God forbid that women love cats cause we're automatically demonized and ridiculed. It all comes down to the same thing: cats, as well as women, have been villified to the point that people actually believe these animals are assholes. Cats are often misunderstood, and some people hate them for eveything they do and everything they don't. The fact that 'crazy (animal) lady' is still used as an insult in 2022 is so fucking stupid. The psychopathic pos who enjoys watching his neighboor's cats being hit by cars deserves to die alone and in pain, period.

I love cats! Just being able to pet a cat makes me happy. I guess it's a twisted form of jealousy because they notice we prefer the company of cats (or any pet) over theirs? Also cats tend to be associated with the feminine, while dogs are associated with the masculine, so from incels, it's an inherent hatred against femininity.

Also, why do men always portray cat ladies as frumpy, unattractive or even mentally ill, just generally undesirable? The most popular example would be the cat lady from The Simpsons. They really think we all turn into her or what lmao. Looking back there were so many cat lady jokes in media I was growing up with. I already said it somewhere else, but cat ladies really are the modern equivalent to witches nowadays.
