Have this awful neighbor who won't stop hitting on me even though I've told him repeatedly I am not interested.

And then it hit me ...why don't I try it?

I'm going to monitor his behavior and report back if he loses interest, stops talking to me, no longer acknowledges my existence, and hopefully stops trying to trespass into my house.

Regardless, you can use your documentation of his behaviour : unwanted advances, trespassing (this one especially), does he trespass when you are not there (get that on video) - you could file a police report on feeling threatened just so they have the documentation with time, date and event stamps.
This way, if he does try anything more than this, (on you or any other woman) they have a background of data on this guy.
His behavior is fueled by a desire to dominate, because he struggles with inferiority amongst men. Spending your money won’t help, but police reports and bear mace might.
