You know, the age gap comment you made have given me pause after I read this because honestly, his behaviors then makes perfect sense to me. Men have this idea that if they go out with teens and early-20s, that those girls will always be light hearted, casual, playful, and never take anything or anybody seriously. Endless Summer Fun type of mentality, if you will. So then when the young girlfriend snaps at him for looking or behaving like a clown, the moids are shocked and confused. They'd expect this from a nagging aging hag like a woman his own age, not the cute barely legal youngin. 🙄
