LOL! I just got back from our celebration. I gifted my mom the blowdry brush she'd been wanting and my brother gifted her with... his presence. He also brought his dog along, who had just been sprayed by a skunk. It was so awkward trying to enjoy brunch as his smelly dog kept coming up to all of the guests at the table. I just can't fathom having that kind of audacity to not at least keep the dog in the backyard. Such a douche.
My mom favorizes her sons because they have a penis but they're useless in all affairs of life. Once my brothers stayed at my moms place for one week with her and when my sisters and I we came back the home was SOO dirty, everyone looked so depressed and even my 8 months old grey cat grew white hair on his back while the other one wouldn't come home I guess because of the stress both went through with my brothers. My mother said after that that she sees how much we are more valuable than her sons but her attitude hasn't changed at all... She's also to blame for her sons incompetence since her educatation towards her daughters was MUCH harsher, brothers lived like literal kings

It’s also mothers in law with daughters in law. Thank fuck my husband is pushing back on that shit. Her expectations of her daughters in law are sky high compared to the crap she lets her useless sons get away with. My brother in law turned up to a lunch I organised smelling like a fucking hobo. I just can’t with these scrotes.
Only daughter with brothers. Got my mum her favourite chocolates, flowers and gifts she needed and could use everyday. She's been wanting to buy these things but hardly makes time for herself because of my scrote brothers and father. Made her favourite acai bowl for breakfast. I planned and paid for a dinner outing for her. She still ended up having to cook lunch for my scrote brother which annoyed me. My other brother that lives in another state calls her close to 11:45pm last night to wish her a last minute happy mothers day. He could have at least had a nice bouquet of roses and got gifts delivered on mothers day. Then he said he's going to send her a gift card. Don't know if that happened. The brother who lives with her didn't acknowledge her or mothers day. I've been the one organising spoiling her on mother's Day, birthdays, Christmas from when we were children.
What kind of gift card do you give your mom? Please tell me it's to a nice spa or her favorite restaurant that he plans to take her to the next time he's in town, and not, like, fucking Target or something.

And I'm sure I'll be back to remind all the "only children with brothers" girlies again around Christmas (literally when I took 2-3 hours for myself so I could finish my mom's present so she could have SOMETHING special to open on Christmas Day, I came back to a crying mom because literally NO ONE was helping her cook or clean and she was feeling overwhelmed).
