Why are they praising them like he said a cute thing to his child/grandchild. That's the only thanks a woman gets after immediately after giving birth white she's bleeding buckets from third degree tears on her genitals?
Sounds like a geriatric scrote who spends all his time on the manosphere and takes his venom out on his own blood.
Why do people share this stuff like it's cute and wholesome?
Scrotes see everything as a competition, don't they? Poor daughter who grew up with that kind of father.
That’s awful. Poor woman growing up with him as a dad. Breaks my heart 💔
I saw this post shared by a woman on a childfree Facebook group. As a childfree woman I didn't find this amusing. Unfortunately childfree spaces seems to be full of pickmes and lvm scrotes
Do men think that giving birth is easy? I've never been pregnant, but even I would imagine it's difficult.
I refuse to believe a ww2 vet actually said this. It was probably a modern aged man that's never even seen combat. And someone just made this into a meme because they thought it was funny ( it's not)
What really messes with me is that society pushes this narrative hard on all of us women that motherhood is this blessed experience that we must strive for no matter what the obstacles, next to being married to a scrote of course. But when we achieve these things, we still get pushed down several pegs and humbled. Makes me cry for all married and/or women with children; even when they've done what they are 'supposed to do', they still get punished under misogyny.
Grandpa is an asshole.
For my sanity, I'm choosing to believe this is a fake/satire meme and not an actual conversation between a new mother and gramps
Also, that doesn't really sound like an old person text...and I think most people who were alive during ww2 have passed on by now. Would they even know how to text??? My grandpa was a small child during WW2 and he refuses to even touch a mobile phone.
Bet $10 this is just some Millennial attempt at humor
Grandpa would be promptly removed from that group text and left out of all future shares if that were me.
just more proof that men lack empathy.
also-yea you can say it was just a joke for satire, but the person who posted this definitely was seeking validation, knowing that most men lack empathy and would take it seriously and like it.
the fact it went viral shows that a lot of people would expect their gruff grandfather to react this way. it speaks so much to why men look down on women, they simply think we exaggerate the pain of childbirth. or don’t care to because they don’t see us as humans whose experiences matter as much as theirs do.
I used to greet WWII veterans and escort them to the WWII Monument in DC when I lived there back in 2011. Most WWII vets were nearly dead at that time. I highly doubt a WWII vet said this at all. How many are even alive nowadays? My grandfather was a WWII vet and a great guy. And comparing birth to war is only valid if you've been shot or otherwise maimed. Just going to war isn't that tough. It's what happens while you're there. Lots of guys saw no action at all. Why do people always denigrate mothers? Just watch a mare or a cow--even they feel pain and have a hard time. Bringing forth life is always hard.
