Like even IF another woman wrote this article, it's still a shitty thing to write about someone? The Og post wasn't even pointing any fingers at men? It feels like these comments are more men trying to justify their lack of compassion to themselves more than anything else

I'm going to ignore the guy's comment as I don't need to hear any more from men. But this tweet is validating to me as I grew up in the 2000s and had horrible horrible feelings towards my body. I'm glad there's more body acceptance and body love out there. A 7 year old girl should never have to hate looking at her body in the mirror and starve herself.
My eating disorder started as a child in 2006 and it took me over a decade to fully recover. So many women have harmed themselves due to cruel societal treatment of women’s and girls’ bodies. It will never end, but I’m grateful that the culture is gradually improving, and that I’m personally more resilient and self-loving now.
Any man who uses the phrase “wife up anything female regardless of shape” has definitely contributed to women hating their own bodies.
