He just outed himself by making such jokes. He'd probably go after teens if it were legal to do so.

Bagless - your end paragraph, to me, is essentially the same gag, with the same purpose - to shake up someone who's wrong and getting in your business.

Also I just don't care as much about age gaps - I don't have this notion that I personally need to feel some high-horsed condescending faux sorrow for any adult woman who's making a personal choice based on her own thoughts and experiences.

In the OP, the wife could reasonably be mistaken for a minor, the couple is acting couple-y, and they drawing attention from people who mistake them for a predator and a minor, and then they make a pedo joke.

In my case, my bf and I are 2 years apart, I cant reasonably be mistaken for being too young for him, we arent drawing attention to ourselves by acting couple-y, no one is getting in our business, we're mistaken for a normal father and daughter, and then I correct onlookers by giving my bf an innocent kiss.

Regarding age gaps - I dont care how much agency a teenager or young woman feels like she has. The fact is that an older man perving on teenage and early-20s girls is always a predator. Its about HIM.
