He didn't "have a kid". The baby's mother "had a kid". All he did was impregnate another teenager and derail her life forever.

Where's her praise for going through a pregnancy, giving birth to and raising a child alone when she was almost still a child herself? Note how he only "stayed in the kid's life" and "continues to hang out with it"?Like they're friends or distant acquaintances? He didn't raise his child. He didn't stay with the mother. He (most likely) didn't even have custody or did any of the actually hard work or parenting. And he still gets praised for doing even less than the bare minimum while the mother isn't even mentioned.

Men are evaluated by their distance from 0. Meaning if they give only 5% effort, just barely trying, they are praised as good people with a score of +5.

Women are evaluated by their distance from 100. If a woman gives 97% effort, basically almost perfect in all her actions, she is shamed and called a terrible person with a score of -3.

So the man who in reality is only 5% decent will be judged as better than the woman who is 97% decent.

Furthermore, if a man does nothing good ever, he is considered neutral with a score of 0. Nobody hates him or judges him and he is totally fine. If a woman does nothing good ever, she is given a score of -100 and is considered fully evil. Everyone hates her and she is punished severely. She is expected to be at 100% perfection while the man has no expectations at all. And if she achieves this impossible perfection, and actually is perfect 100% of the time, she is only considered neutral.

I swear Men are respected for the the bare minimum

He didn't even describe active parenting just not running away. So he probably isn't a quality dude at all. Men love to be praised for doing absolutely nothing
