Dinner with someone from OLD tonight. It seemed okay at first, no obvious dealbreakers yet. The food arrived and we began to eat. He stopped me after a few bites and said, "You have a beautiful smile but there's something stuck in between your teeth." Embarrassed, I immediately excused myself to the ladies room to take care of it. As I rose from my seat, he grinned with scrote satisfaction and said, "Just kidding."
I stared at him for a few seconds, baffled. He said, "I just like to lighten things up sometimes." I said, "I see," collected my coat, and walked out the door without a glance back. He was blocked and deleted by the time I got to my car.
I don't know how he reacted to my leaving. I also don't care. It probably embarrassed him and made him look like a fool. I hope so.
At least now I know a new restaurant to avoid. The food was mediocre and the ambience was tacky. Of course he picked it. 🤡
This man was a high-earning professional with an impressive CV and we know a lot of the same people through work. It's beyond cringe that he tried such a transparent and juvenile tactic on me, but scrotes always tell on themselves no matter their accomplishments and status. Who are these people?
