The entire structure of the fashion industry is problematic in a way that makes it seem like the industry was stolen from women to keep working class women dependent on a male bread winner, and have us dress the way men want. Women and girls in foreign sweatshops sewing cheap fabrics that hurt your hands and leech micro plastics. The sizing is another issue, people had clothes tailored to their size with as many pockets added as they would like up until very recent history.

I was about to say this. The entire concept of the fashion industry is inherently degrading to women, and sometimes children now.
I find it compelling that gay men are pushing the ideal of women models as stick-thin pencils, since that’s not what most men are attracted to. But it still feels like a miss to argue that women models should cater to the heterosexual male gaze. I don’t find high fashion “empowering” at all, so I would leave it to ladies who are passionate about fashion as an art form to share their view on what radical feminist fashion modeling could look like.

I'd argue that most men ARE attracted to stick thin models, and many of them are secretly both gay and pedophilic.
fr and i dress masc most of the days(if hoodies, sweats counts as masc) but never I have gotten so many compliments when I wear a cute dress which suits my body type!
Most of female fashion is not made for a normal body type that has boobs. Bras? Don't get me started on that misogynistic lingerie industrie that basically has men running the biggest bra brands. I wish there was something like the european comission actually putting up some regulation for the fashion industry to actually produce clothing that is a basic necessity for the normal range of body types that exist.
