I've noticed something about men these days where they openly talk about how women with "daddy issues" are more desirable, or mentally unstable women on general. I had a conversation with a man today and he asked me "what are some of your intrusive thoughts."
I was taken aback and didn't really know how to respond. I told him, honestly, that I don't really experience thoughts like that... To which he laughed and made fun of me for being "mentally stable" and then ended the conversation. Ummm sorry for being healthy and of sound mind??
It's super disturbing. I imagine a lot of pickme women would pretend to be mentally unstable (whatever that may look like) just to appease men. In the same realm, I see a lot of memes/posts from men about wanting a "goth gf," "witchy woman," "a woman with red flags," etc...
I understand the importance of destigmatizing mental health issues, but let's not go around idealizing it 🙄
Edit: "Looking for a woman who will ruin my life" = Man who is mentally unstable himself
This is the majority of men. They know women are superior to them, so they purposely look for a woman they can either fake-rescue or dominate. It’s all about tickling their ego-peen.
Pathetic.
Never NEVER tell a man your problems. And run from any man who asks.
I met a potential buyer a few months ago to discuss my client (I sell companies). He was very pushy and asked about my dating life. I told him I’m not in a relationship - and why are we talking about this anyway?? (he’s middle eastern so I chalked up the awkwardness to lack of cultural savvy). He immediately jumped into “OH! So you’ve been traumatized by men?! So you’re avoiding them?!”
No jackass. I’m just not in the mood, and your bullshit isn’t helping.
Got away from him fast.
Men like this are dangerous wolves: on the prowl for their next victim. The minute you share anything vulnerable, they’ll move in for the kill. Run.
