I can understand why she’s pissed. This man obviously only asked her out so he could film a woman’s reaction to being asked to pay half the bill. He completely wasted her time. Undoubtedly she found him on a dating app.

It if were me, though, there’s no way I’d reward him for that by giving him the reaction he’s looking for. The phone being out and in his hand is a possible indicator that he’s recording. I’d just pay my half without complaint and then block him the second I left. If he’s going to waste my time, I’ll waste his.

Why argue? They love to see a woman bothered. I don’t know, call me crazy but my approach for this kind of shit if a man directly asks and won’t back down is I take the check and say “I got this, princess” and pay it in full myself.

Then as I’m walking out- my Uber’s already waiting- lean in and whisper “Mmmm and I’m actually verrry adventurous, what a shame”, pat him on the head like a puppy, and walk out. Block and delete. Let him feel sexually frustrated and regretful.
