edit: I actually looked up this story and they’re also an age gap couple. He’s 81 and she’s 64. So she was 22 and he was 39 when they got together and he currently has dementia
We complain about LVM now but... this was in a time when men were shamed (somewhat) for not providing for a woman, and it was an extreme taboo for the woman to propose, and not get married at a young age(for both). As boomers, he must be a level 99 LVM in order for this to happen.
At least she'll inherit everything now
