Just to make sure they still "got it" just in case they need it. I had one who continued to call me about his grandma's vase that he "left behind", no matter how many times I said I threw it in the trash. I finally went and got one at the dollar store and sent him a picture " found your vase". His response -- "not uh, that's not the right one - you threw it out, didn't you?" OY VEY!!
He never wanted the vase; he just wanted me to respond, so he could feel like I still cared.
