Gee. If only there were a more honest and helpful group men could listen to! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m in my 30s, and this is why I stopped pulling out my wallet on dates long ago, since my 20s. You’d have to make me eat my own head before I’d consider splitting a bill.
If you acquiesce (even once) to splitting the bill, you have literally funded a scrote’s entertainment. You could’ve spent the same money taking yourself out and had a better time.
I have not used my wallet on a date in about a decade (unless it was my significant others' birthdays). I absolutely refuse to do so, even if it comes across as “rude”. After all, HE is the one being rude by inviting a woman on a date he never intended to pay for.
This is so true, though! Men teach other men how to behave and act like monsters. It's the biggest reason I'm not so afraid of the TRP... Men in my life growing up learned similar behavior from other males in their lives. Men have been getting warned about "gold diggers" and such for decades... long before anything like TRP came along.
I also think that pretty much all men are secretly gay for their bros. 😂
Sometimes I think men give other men bad advice on purpose 😂
This is hilarious!

That and also it keeps dating standards low. Using the example above, if very few men pay for dates then women will come to expect to pay for themselves, which benefits all men.
On a side note, this is why I think it's important to vet a man's friends as well as the man you're dating. Men often seek advice from their friends and if his friends are all LVM, then they'll only give bad advice e.g. "you shouldn't pay for dates because that weeds out all the gold-diggers".

I think it's a tall order to expect a man's friends (all or most of them) to be HV.
It's a lovely idea, but I just have not seen it in real life.

Well I'm thinking more about the man's close friends i.e. the friends he hangs out with the most. IMO they should be HVM.

She's so right. It's not a date if you're paying and driving yourself.
