So, she was 18 when she had him and, going by the level of over-attachment being displayed here, has quite clearly had no other identity or purpose in life since than that of being his caretaker. Sad. Ladies, THIS right here is why men like the idea of marrying and having families with very young women. It makes this shit seem normal, desirable, and to some people, maybe even sweet. It’s NOT.

The time period also has a lot to do with it. 100 years ago Women were basically told their lives revolved about males and a male was their end all be all.
Imagine wasting 80 years of your life taking care of your useless shitstain of a son. I'm gonna show this to all the people who ask "but who will take care of you when you're older?"

Me: *with the most bitter expression I can manage* "She wouldn't do that for her daughter tho."
Omg I thought I was the only one that thought this same thing! Everytime I watch anything ANYTHING on TV, whether it's a crime show, movie, etc., I always wonder "I bet they (both parents) wouldn't do/say that if the person was a daughter instead."
Example: Like when I watch a crime show and the episode has either a victim (who was at the wrong place at the wrong time and was murdered) or the person committed the crime and of course, their mother would always mourn/be by their side ... and I know for a fact had the victim/criminal been born a woman, the mother wouldn't be like that.
I saw a crime show (can't remember which one, it was a while back) where the victim was a daughter (and of course the case was a typical scrote ex bf that had killed her) .. the mother speaking about her was straight faced, almost like it didn't really matter to her that her own daughter was killed. Rant over.
Edit: Oh and a personal example.... My brother was living with/off of my mom at the time and he physically assulted her. I told her that she could evict him (even the cops involved told her that! And even they told my brother that he has it good) but she refused to press charges/evict him because it would "break her heart" but she had no problem letting me be homeless. 🙄🤦🏻♀️

Exactly my thoughtBoys are loved daughters are raised (to be fucking lambs to the slaughter)There was a news story a while back about a mom who had her two adult kids living with her. There was a drive-by shooting (this is the black community) and the mother was somewhere in the home and her two kids were in the living room. The mother rushes into the living room and heads over to her son, trying to assist him because he was shot and asks her daughter to help her. Bitch… her daughter was shot TOO! It took her a hot minute to realize that and they were both sitting on the couch, but she rushed over to her ThUn first.Mothers like this should not breed tbh.
And here I am worried as fuck as to how I'm going to take care of my mother once the day comes that my father passes away. She'll have the house all to herself and his life insurance money but like... I refuse to let strangers touch her or take care of her. Sons really be out here wondering who will care for him when he's old and frail while daughters are like, "Do I have enough money to move my parents in with me?"
Ugh I can’t imagine babying my son until this age. I’m hoping as he gets older he starts taking care of me 😒 either way I want my own life outside of being a mom.
I would consider it a red flag unless I see this only child dude showing some top tier HV traits which almost never is the case. They are used to being the centre of everything
JFC. Males need to stop being coddled by mommy. My 88-year old grandma coddles her son (my uncle) who’s pushing 70. He is a useless abuser. It makes me so sick.

Thought they were a couple until I saw the caption. That's what so many boy mom's want anyways. Sheesh. Men never grow up
lol I can't imagine why he doesn't have a wife to care for him 😂
Correct. But you stop changing a man’s diapers when he’s a grown man.
Did it ever occur to him that his mother will die before he does? What will he do then?
It's a red flag if a man is an only child, right?
