All the comments are "what a sweet guy" and "he'll make such a great dad!" But does anyone realize if he doesn't know his wife didn't want a maternity shoot maybe his empathy skills are questionable?
HE'S OLD. What's sweet about a 60yo geezer getting a, presumably, much younger woman pregnant? She probably didn't want to do a happy-go-lucky maternity photo shoot because she was depressed about her bad life choices. DONT BE LIKE THIS MOID'S WIFE. DONT GET KNOCK UP BY SOME DUMB OLD SCROTE.
FDS has really opened my eyes to how the media & society frames men's potential or real abuse towards women. People praised Warner Bros. for removing PePe Le Pew, yet so many other "comedies" like it continue to exist.
Exactly. He made it all about him. He benefits because he gets to look like a "fun" guy while the wife surely must be "a bitch" to not want to do this. I wonder if she might be suffering from some condition making her feel fat, ugly, tired, lacking in energy, and in no mood for a photo shoot. I wonder who the person is who caused this condition.
Someone let this... thing... impregnate her? Geez. He should have been thrown out of the gene pool decades ago. It's so important that women have standards to avoid this nightmare 🤢
One guy on the makeup sub hitthe front page of reddit. His account name was literally named a fetsih (sissy) and his entire history was the same fetish too🤢
First thought is he’s SO OLD. Way too old to be a parent to a newborn. His wife must be so young. But then I thought men don’t take good care of themselves and he could be like mid 40s with a woman around his age.
Either way🤮
I agree though it’s all about attention. Pregnancy and motherhood isnt about him and he probably knew his wife wouldn’t want a maternity shoot. So I feel like this was his plan the entire time. I feel like lots of relationship issues happen when the wife is pregnant. For lots of women being pregnant is one of the only times we’re the centre of attention and a lot of husbands can’t handle it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did this for attention in real life and likes online. Anyway, he will be a shit father
This is along the same line as boudoir shoots where there is an intimacy to the pictures. Not at all women go for the idea of a maternity shoot, which is to each their own. But to have the idea purely fueled by the man? No
Sometimes women book them and gift them to their significant other. When men do, it's because they know someone who "gifted" them to their girlfriend, partner, or spouse. And of course, it's for his benefit...
Case in point: I had a boyfriend beg me to do one after his friend posted his wife's on Facebook. His friend organized the session with the photographer, then splashed the pictures for all of his friend list to see. Let that sink in.
My ex tried pitching it to me that it's "tasteful", he would pay for it, and that it would be with the same photographer that his friend used. From looking at the pictures, the choice in clothing ranged from a corset with a satin robe and heels to one where the friend's wife was just wrapped in a sheet.
I told him it was a solid no for a myriad of reasons, the first being that I was uncomfortable with the idea and the second had to do with who got the pictures we broke up. Of course he suggested that he keep them because he paid for them. Ha. So I told him that it's still a no and I wasn't giving him the opportunity to sell me out like his friend did to his wife.
going to photography school for a couple years made me realize that 99% of male photographers get into it for perverted reasons. its a huge red flag. They are not only creeps but also really arrogant in general
reminds me of that South Park episode where wendy gets heavily photoshopped photos of herself done and her boyfriend Stan is showing it to all his friends. I can’t remember the details completely perfectly but I think the other girls get jealous and start doing photoshopped photos of themselves as well. and the guys are all way more into the photos of the girls and showing the photos off to each other than they are into their actual girlfriends.
I thought it was a pretty clever episode though, given how many guys would rather jack off to pixels on a screen than enjoy a real woman 😂

That's what I hate about these pictures, too. Why do they have to be so sexualized? Why does the pregnant woman have to dress "sexy" or be fully naked and posing in a sexually loaded position for a maternity shoot? It's supposed to be about her and the unborn child, isn't it? How is that the right occasion for "sexy" photoshoots? It's just for the male gaze, nothing else and it's disgusting.
I completely understand wanting photos to honor such an important time in your life. But why do you need to expose more than the belly (if even that)? Who are these pictures really for? Wank and brag material for dad to show his friends?
I also saw ridiculously sexualized pictures of a mom with a newborn in the window of a photographer recently. She was posing in a corset, stockings and heels and was topless with the naked baby barely covering her breasts. That just feels wrong and icky to me.
Could have just asked the photographer to take pictures of the new born after it was born instead of making it about himself. I have a feeling that it wasn't that his wife didn't want to and that it was another reason that men seem to always want to announce when their wives are pregnant...

Getting huge narcissist vibes.
if he really had money, he'd cancel without a second thought.
Old scrote won't respect wife's wishes. Of course he knows better, he threw money at something. /s

I'm sick of these disgusting guys trying out being visually 'feminine' and expecting applause!

Very sick and disgusting 🤢

It's kinda jokingly mocking femininity and motherhood. This is a punch down kinda humour (if you could even consider it to be humour).
Also agree about lack of empathy and funds on the old man's part. And yeah, his old age...
She probably knew that he would make fun of her photos because clearly he didn't want to miss out on it
