Was watching some clips from Queen Elizabeth‘s Platinum Jubilee Celebration, specifically Ed Sheeran singing “Perfect” with a tear jerking slideshow of the Queen and Prince Phillip. ALMOST forgot Phillip’s frequent indiscretions. Then I got to thinking, if Beyonce, JLo, and the Queen of freaking England can be cheated on, is it hopeless? Did they not vet properly? Or is it just in mens nature, HV, NV or LV, to lack the loyalty of a dog? Thoughts?

In a lot of ways (not just cheating) I think men are not developing values/moral compass, self-discipline and an authentic sense of identity. Many seem to have this desperation to satiate their desires (at the expense of others). Then they blame others if that doesn’t end well. They also have poor coping mechanisms. Depressed? Cheat. Insecure? Cheat. Happy and opportunistic? Cheat. Random woman is naked on street? Cheat! Etc etc. Many think materialistically- like tangible objects (food, sex, cars, etc) will fill that empty void they’ve created. So the more sex and women, the better. They don’t think they can find happiness by building a committed relationship with only one person. And they have this stupid voice in their head telling them to prove their alpha male-ness, too.
No, not all men cheat. That being said, just because a guy doesn’t cheat does not mean he is high value.
A man cheating gas no reflection on your worth or value as a human being. JLo, Beyoncé, and the Queen of England didn’t fail at life because the men around them were immature and morally bankrupt. Vetting doesn’t mean when something fucked up happens to you, it’s your fault. It’s a defense mechanism to minimize loss.
The Queen is from a generation that accepted male cheating. I'm sure it still hurts her deeply, but she had to ignore it to stay married. So, that's why she never had sympathy for Diana.
At this point in my life I have no idea. I think men and our patriarchal culture has such a low opinion of women that it doesn't matter how they treat us. I wouldn't go comparing yourself to celebrities to beat yourself up. It's not healthy. The way celebrities act is totally different from the way normal people act. I assume normal dudes are less likely to cheat than a celeb.
No not all men do cheat. I used to be on the surviving infidelity sub on reddit and there were so many men posting about how important fidelity is for them.
I wouldn’t say all men cheat. I still have some hope left despite how cynical relationships have made me, but a majority of men probably do
Every relationship I’ve been in a man has cheated. Physically or on his phone(I consider this cheating). But I was the one who didn’t walk away at first.
What in the femcel is this. This is is the type of low effort post that mods wanted to clean off the old Reddit form. 1. Don’t compare yourself to celebrities because they are not good examples. 2.Yes they’re are plenty of lvm and cheaters. No, there are hvm who do not cheat. Also, do you not realize that women on this site have hvm as bfs and husband? What is the point of this post as this does not encourage discussion on how avoid lvm and cheater red flags nor does it point out any strategies. This is not helpful to the community at all and it shifts the focus from ourselves back to shifty lvm.
