This is something I noticed in a lot of online places: men will use the words “the wife” or “wife” and rarely “my wife.”
Like their wife is a product and not an actual person.
The car stopped working. The wife stopped working.
Wife likes to eat pancakes. Why not write my wife?
This makes it feel like the wife is temporary until they find another.
Women, on the other hand, will usually always write “my husband.”
This is something I have been thinking about lately, and I wonder if any of you have noticed it too.
I don't like it. My narc and abusive biological dad would refer to me and my sister as "the girls" and "the helpers" when talking about us. He wouldn't use our names, that I could remember. It was like we were his property, and we only existed to help clean up around the house, help with this and that, not to exist as people.
I feel like when a woman gets married to a scrote he does that same thing and she is seen as his property, and his maid, his accessory to drag around and show off to other dudes.
