The radical feminist community on Tumblr, FDS, Ovarit, r/herspace, and r/fourthwavewomen are the few places online that are real women-only spaces.
Everything else is invaded by men.
I collected some posts from the radical feminist community on Tumblr that are shareworthy.
I tend to trigger some women on here when I make these types of posts or even comments. I don't care if you downvoted me; I'm not going to change my opinion.
You need a reality check.
If you're going to date men, you need to know what you're getting yourself into.
Trans "women" will nevvvvvvvvver understand what it is to be a REAL woman. Shit... try a lifetime of oppression for starters... they can't even begin to fathom that nor the things we have endured since we were so sooo young.
Boys snapping your bra on the playground when you first started wearing them, the pain of menstruation every single month since puberty, having to watch out for rapists since we were toddlers, the lack of freedom to go and do what we want to do safely because men kill us at an alarming rate, watching our drinks, getting constantly fucked with and told we are doing it all wrong, getting beaten, and on and on and on.
Because of these things, they will absolutely never know what it means to be a woman. You can't put on the wig and a skirt and pretend playtime like you're in... you're not in. You can't say "I'm a woman" without ever feeling the lifetime of burdens that come with it.
I really don't understand why we still have to explain that dressing up as something and doesn't turn you into that something to grown adults. Not even if you believe in it really hard.
Putting on a cat costume doesn't turn me into cat anymore that putting on a woman costume turns you into a woman. Yes, even if I learn to meow, walk and act like a cat really convincingly, eat cat food and poop into a litter box and truly, truly believe I am actually a cat. I don't have the biology of a cat, I don't have the instincts of a cat, I don't have the socialization and lifetime experiences of a cat.
And while I believe that there are people with real (usually trauma induced) gender dysphoria out there, I don't think society is doing them a favor by validating their delusion instead of getting them the mental health support they need.
If I turn up at doctor's office in a cat costume claiming I am a cat born in the wrong body and have been a cat "on the inside" all my life they are probably going to conclude I need psychiatric help. Not clap and go "I support you! I will treat you like a cat from now on and shame everyone who doesn't!"
I will literally never understand how pre-2016 leftist discourse was all about "lived experience" and how you could never have the perspective of a particular group of people if you didn't share their lived experience only to turn around and unironically grant trans identified men the privilege of speaking on behalf of women and forcing everyone to literally see them as women.
Trans "women" are men cosplaying.
These speak to my soul!
Men aren't women. Feminism is only for women. Men shouldn't be praised for doing the bare miniu. Women who praise men for the bare minimum are humiliating themselves. Men invading women's spaces should be shunned as outsiders, not prioritized. Yes yes YES!
Thank you so much for this post! There are some lurkers here (the anonymous members, I suppose?) who downvote things - please do not let this affect you. This was a valuable post.
You can add r/herspace to the rare list of radical feminist safe spaces for real women!
