This wasn't something I ever noticed growing up--if you had a ring on your left hand, you were definitely married, if you didn't, you were definitely single--but nowadays I keep noticing people who have bands...but it's completely unclear if they are married or not by their words and behavior.
I can kind of understand why a single woman might wear a ring to avoid unwanted attention, but men doing it is super suspicious. I don't want to be the super nosy person that's like SO ARE YOU MARRIED OR NOT???? But bruh this is an annoying trend. Has anyone else noticed this?
I swear, if I find out this is some next level Pick Me/LVM shit where they give each other cheap-ass promise rings...🙄
If someone is wearing a wedding band on their ring finger I'm assuming they are married. If they are acting like they aren't I assume they are just a shitty husband
Oh its suspicious when a man is wearing one. He’s most likely wearing one with his forever girlfriend. i actually had a friend of a friend who was having a baby with her bf, and he told certain people in his family and some friends that they got married secret because the family was “religious “
so they both wore rings around those people. But obviously he didn’t want to actually marry her.
that’s a bit of an extreme example. But I think most of the time it’s a forever gf insecure and wants to seem like she’s married to the bf who won’t marry her
Solo female travelers sometimes wear rings to “look married” esp in riskier countries. I have never worn a ring anyway and have been to 29 countries with less than a handful of issues in over 20 years.
I never wore my wedding ring when I was married. It always bothered my ex that I never wore my ring. I told him if I want to a cheat on you, a ring will not stop me lol. I just workout a lot and didn’t like how the rings dot moving a lot. I also had to take them off whenever I washed my hands and few times forgot them at restaurants. So I just stopped all together … I still have them. I want to sell them and by myself a nice necklace instead 😆
Men wearing a wedding ring are married. Men NOT wearing a wedding ring maybe, maybe not.
