This makes me think of the term "underage prostitute". How there is not more outrage about things like this just proves how brainwashed our society is to serve men. Child sex trafficking is a billion dollar industry, it ain't nobody involved, it's a majority of men on the planet in my opinion. I have a feeling things are coming to a head now, this roe overturning feels like a death rattle power grab because they know people are waking up.
I'm glad some people are waking up. People are brainwashed by patriarchal system and they are silenced so the corrupted system can carry on, and that's why there's less outrage coz half of it isn't even aired by a corrupt media and socials. It's mindset of: silence, sweep under the carpet and they can go back to believing the fake persona portrayed to the outside world of a decent person while secretly they carry on abusing. Compliance kills. We should never be silenced.
the gross comment that mentioned the teacher's appearance is exactly why female predators aren't taken seriously... and men refuse to keep each other in check when they make such remarks. no, it's still always a woman issue because "feminists don't hold female predators accountable".
What is it called when an 8 year old boy exposes his willy to a four year old girl? Or when a 16 year old boy exposes and shoves his erect penis into a 10 year old girls mouth? I know I was raped in my older teenage years but is it still rape or sexual assault or labelled something else when it's young kids....
I agree that there should be a more severe term for what we went through. It’s given me cptsd as well and that’s why I said it’s still rape. I don’t minimize it at all, but society sadly and wrongly do when they normalize it.
The 8 year old boy might secretly caught his parents being sexually active and because he is probably aware that he caught them doing it, he would not tell them what he saw, so instead of asking his parents what was happening he went out trying it with someone more vulnerable then him. The 16 year old boy probably watches porn (it’s free on the internet) and went out raping someone more vulnerable then him.
As I got older, I asked more questions, I googled etc I'm beginning to think the 8 year old was being abused in some way himself coz I learnt a few years ago he hung himself when he was 26
Also, wanting sex or being attracted to someone is not the same as verbal consent under specific circumstances. There are so many people who don’t understand what consent is and when you add a power dynamic it’s easy for the younger person to assume they must have consented. I don’t even know if they teach consent in schools, but they clearly aren’t teaching it well enough.
They never thought consent in schools college etc but I think they're starting to. It's not just consent needs to be takes about though. The corrupt justice system needs improvement and support systems for survivors need to be improved. They are other areas but these are the main ones. I know I never assumed I consented, I was just too young to know what to do to make it stop.
