Looking for work is hard as a disabled person. Apparently disability is on par with being a criminal

I think it’s because the one blot says “talk about your disability or conviction”, but that’s my best guess. I’m sorry you’re going through this when job searching OP

Yeah it’s the fact that they’re placed in the same category. It’s subtlety telling everyone “your disability is as bad as a conviction, you must explain it away so it doesn’t sound as bad.” Why do I have to coddle society for their ignorance? Btw what’s worse is this was part of my google search for “organisations that help autistic people find work.” Most of the advice was downplay your issues so you seem appealing to hire.
