My father is a massive scrote, it's set my sister and I up with issues.
Father calls this morning dragging my sister for things her abusive adult (18) son is doing, saying my sister will be the responsible one when my nephew gets a girl pregnant, like it's only natural.
I called him out at which point he said my view was cold, I told him I didn't care, abusive nephew is no family to me and I wish my sister had listened last year when I tried to assist her in getting away from him when he became an adult.
I called my sister, did not mention any "I told you so", to make sure she was ok after the tirade she'd received.
It's just so frustrating that we grew up under this man.
Where is the "child's" father in all of this? If he is out of the picture, the grandpa should have stepped up in some way, shape or form to be a role model to him. But OF COURSE he decides to just blame your sister for everything.
I love my sons with all my heart, but I tell them all the time that a) when they turn 18 they need to leave the house (because I really believe if men don't leave the nest on time it cripples them; and b) if they EVER start doing drugs under my roof like their father did, they're out. I will not allow that chaos into my life again.
I cut my parents off after similar nonsense. Highly recommended!
Jesus Christ.
Wonder where the nephew learned the abusive behavior from....
