I really hate weaponized incompetence

Or just blatant incompetence.

I made my little brother breakfast because my mom will forget and then ask me to do it. Which is a whole problem on its own. She wouldn't teach him to be independent, wouldn't let me teach back then. And now that he's older and not doing anything, she's suddenly okay with me teaching him because she's too busy.

I was asked to wash the dishes (again, which really irritates me because I don't understand why I'm the only one expected to clean the entire house)..

And then I was asked to clean the fridge. So I asked my older brother if he can at least clean the fridge. He asks me "what should I be throwing out?"

Dude...just read the expiration dates. I told him "anything rotten or old". So he asks "I know but...what should I be throwing out?". Wtf? ANYTHING ROTTEN OR OLD. Check the expiration dates! See if it smells weird! Is it mushy or miscolored? Why does he my help with that?? He's older than me too!

How do single men make it to old age without dying? When he moves out is he going to poison himself? How tf does he not know what to throw out? That really put me in a bad mood..I hate that I'm too broke to live on my own.

I can't stand living with males. And my brother is one of the better men in my life but that doesn't detract from the fact he's still a slob at home. So annoyed.
