He's not a child or a cripple, so he can cook his own damn meals and clean up his own damn messes.
You ain't his momma either. I don't know how so many males grow up to completely lack basic cooking and cleaning skills. I've even known a few that couldn't/wouldn't even cook a pot of spaghetti.
Again and again and again and again and again:
Never cook for a man who isn't your huband. Never perform wife duties if you're not his wife.
THIS THIS THIS!!!!!! I'm absolutely flabbergasted that it has become the norm to start cooking for your date/boyfriend. I don't even like cooking so when I was younger this was a big insecurity of mine. I thought I was less than the women who would cook elaborate meals for their boyfriends. Thank God for FDS, now I know better!
I want a husband who likes cooking and cleaning because it's a life skill.
That, and like, shoulder length hair gets me.
I won't lie my cooking skills are decent but due to being raised by narcissists I end up feeling a spike of anxiety when I try to cook because my brain is anticipating I'll be called worthless and I'd get corrected. I've been working on this anxiety for a while but when I cook it's usually for myself or someone I truly love like an old friend of family member, not moids.
I ended up not cooking at all in my first relationship as a teenager and I realized it wasn't actually required to cook for them it opened my eyes to how wrong pick mes in my life were and the reason they did that servitude stuff was because they honestly probably had nothing else to offer. This is why leveling up is crucial because without improving people only see us as servants.
Yeah. Observe also who does what in his family.
My friend's bf invited her to have a dinner with his fam at his parents's house. His mom cooked the whole feast (trad dishes that took a lot of prep and hours to cook btw) and he admitted that he and his dad didn't lift a finger. Guy never cooked all his life.
She still married him though 😶
What if he also cooks for you? My bf likes to cook as a hobby and often makes meals for me when I'm staying over. Sometimes I like to do the same kind of as a way to "repay the favor" even if he doesn't ask for it . Though he is much better at cooking than me so it's more rare.
