Women are so often scolded for not being emotional punching bags for others, especially men, because our own mental and emotional needs occasionally take priority (gasp!).
It's super telling that women have often complained about men trauma dumping on them, rarely the other way around (because again, women are raised to believe our feelings don't matter). Yet this is apparently a woman who's all too happy to do it? And to be fair, she doesn't say she only does this for men. Still, it just feels off.
And I know a lot of people aren't keen on small talk. It kinda peeves me when people act like it's stupid and unimportant though- like being nice to others is annoying and a waste of time. It's also telling that women are usually the ones engaging in small talk. I guess the whole post sort of gives me a kind of pickme vibe.
Or else I'm dead wrong lmao. I think I'm just a little burnt out seeing women on reddit try to show how valuable they are for validation, it's sad.
Who wants to hear people trauma dump on you 24/7, she should be a therapist and get paid atleast. Like damn, nice women just loving doing free work
