I was on the Patreon for a while, but that place is dead. Like tumbleweed occasionally blows across an arid desert, that kind of dead.
I'm proud to be a part of something that I'm sure will be bigger in due time. It's also really nice to have female centered content. It really is like a safe space.
A benefit of FDS leaving Reddit, which caused me to leave Reddit is I now have more time to binge all the FDS podcasts. They really are all amazing!
When distracted with Reddit, I kept putting off listening to them all.

There was a thread on here a few days ago discussing men being allowed on FDS if they are patreons. I went back to see if anything was addressed by the mods, but the thread has been deleted... I'm not going to consider paying for anything unless I know this is a female-only forum.
I'm very happy to be a patron donor. It's cheaper than Netflix and you know your support it going to a female-focused group. It is SO cathartic to hear the podcast say things I've always felt to be true, but never verbalized. Some episodes aren't my style (like the celebrity stuff, and I don't always agree with their takes). But overall the podcast and FDS has been a net benefit in my life. Worth the $6!

An hour of therapy is 100 a pop, Patreon is 52 hours of content per year for $68. On top of that I think the women deserve it for all the content and labor. It's better than therapy because it's not brainwashed lala land "hAvE YoU TriEd CoMuNicAtiNg oR TaKiNg An SsRi?"
