Last year, I organized a crafting hour at my job to make Valentine Cards for the local children's hospital (and my coworkers' loved ones) and red packets for Year of the Dragon.
I live in a place with way too much liberal feminism and faux wokeness so Valentine's Day was not very popular in my office. I knew if I made the cards about little kids and mixed it with other February holidays (like Lunar New Year and St. Brigid's Day), people would go to the event and still feel like they can ride their high horse 'cause "it's for the children, and culture".
It worked! I saw many people wearing pink, red, and heart jewelry! Guess what? We just had a Valentine's party on Wednesday.
This is gonna sound like some far-right, melodramatic propaganda, but gold star for me for ending the war on Valentine's Day 🙃!
